Once a year, the Main Street Station Plaza and The Village at Breckenridge, (at the base of Peak Nine) are turned into an amazing vineyard that brings together the best wineries in the country and as far as Europe, Australia or New Zealand. Almost 300 wines will be available, so there will be a tough choice to make.

As wine needs a partner, you will also find delicious dishes to make your experience even more enjoyable.

What to enjoy at the Breckenridge Food and Wine Festival

Learn about the many wine varieties at the exciting seminars taught by prestigious sommeliers and find delicious food pairing alternatives you would have never thought about.

Almost 300 wines from more than 70 top-rayed wineries in the USA, Spain, Italy, France, Portugal, Germany, Argentina, Chile, Australia and New Zealand will be at the festival ready for tasting.

Please note that festival food is not included in the ticket price and is available a la carte.

In 2022, the amazing band called Spinphony welcomes you with an original live blend of pop and classical rock music. Unique mixes of well-known catchy songs, together with original tunes and compositions, this amazing quartet brings a rock bank, Dj beats and choreography altogether. Bach, Mozart, AC/DC or Journey, this talented female string quartet will rock to the best songs ever.

Breckenridge Food and Wine Festival ticket options

Depending on how long you plan to stay in Brackenridge or the experience you love most, you can choose between various ticket types:

All Access Pass – All Weekend

This ticket type offers you access to all the experiences the festival has to offer, including the VIP treatment.

Tickets include the Food and Wine Pairing Dinner, Brunch and Vines and VIP access to the festival and can only be booked in advance.

Food and Wine Pairing Dinner – Friday

Hosted and presented by a wine specialist, this dinner takes you through a full story told by the deep flavors and aromas that make wine and food so special. You will learn about the pairing process, while the talented chef will share the inspiration behind the carefully selected dishes.

This exquisite experience is offered by Sauce on the Maggie on Friday evening from 6.30 pm, dinner serves at 7.00 pm.

Grand Tasting – Saturday

Unlimited wine samples, live music and a commemorative glass as a keepsake. This universal pass is perfect for new, as well as seasoned wine lovers. Festival food offered by the many vendors is not included in the price and is available a la carte.

VIP Experience – Saturday

Unlimited wine samples, delicious foods and professional service await VIP’s in the designated VIP center. Guests will enjoy live music and will get a commemorative glass, as well as a first go at the Grand Wine Tasting one our before the pass holders are admitted.

The welcome reception will begin at 12.30 pm at Sauce on the Maggie, with VIP center open until 5pm. The Exclusive Festival Tasting begins at 1.00 pm with Grand Tasting  between 2 – 6 pm.

These tickets are fast-selling and can only be bought in advance.

Brunch and Vines – Sunday

The best thing to help you recover from a big festival day is a hearty brunch, and a few delicious champagnes, sangrias, margaritas, mimosas and refreshments. Visit Sauce on the Maggie on Sunday from 11 am to 1 pm for a relaxing experience.

Designated Driver Access

Even if you drive and (obviously) cannot drink, it is highly appreciated by friends and festival hosts as well. Drivers get free admission so that they can enjoy the good music and all the fun with their friends, but without the alcohol.

What else besides the Breckenridge Food and Wine Festival?

While in the area, make sure you don’t miss the other fun festivals in the same season:

  • Breckenridge Sunday Market (every Sunday between June 12th – September 4th 2022) where you will find unique artistic creations, handmade and homegrown items;
  • Breckenridge Hogfest (August 26th – 28th 2022) celebrating the delicious meat and bacon cooked in more ways than you can imagine;
  • Breckenridge Strings, Ciders and Sours (September 16th – 18th 2022) bringing together the most loved beverages from local as well as national breweries.
